HAVE: Epidendrum parkinsonium

One large leaf separated from the plant a few months ago. It has roots and is now in the process of blooming. If you go to Jay Phal's internet species they have renamed it. Look under Coilostylus parkinsoniana. The plant came from Andy' some years ago.

Outside stuff only,

Nick

Does yours look like this? Free Image Hosting at www.picturetrail.com

There has not been a name change on this plant unless it is in the last three months.

Hi Nick,

I sent you an e-mail but haven't heard anything back yet.

I have some of these and just love them. Is yours mounted?

I responded directly, I guess you are not getting them. I'm taking the plant to SBOE tomorrow (Sat) to have it identified. There is an Epi falcata which looks somewhat similar. It has pure white flowers which mine does not but there are natural hybrids. My so called Parkinsoniuym does not look exactly the same as the Park. of a friend of mine. I'll let you know what SBOE says. SBOE is also not aware of a name change.

I was at Santa Barbara Orchid Estates today and the plant was identified as Epidendrum falcata. I will relist it under that name.
