HAVE: Beallara Late Night 'Red'

The following plant has just bloomed out for me. 8 pbulbs, 19 flowers. I'd be interested in cattleya alliance species and primary hybrids especially encyclias. Otherwise, phal species, Miltonia (not Miltoniopsis) or I guess just make me an offer. I'm not looking for cool growers (I'm in Alabama).

Hey Doc
#1 The pictures you have posted are probably NOT B. Late Night Red, however it might be a MacLellenara, or something.

#2 Anyway, I'm still interested -- I have Encyclia cochleata, and/or Encyclia radiata in near specimin size in six in pot for trade.

Interested??

Rex: You are absolutely correct. I got this from Chesterfield Orchids on 4/17/03 for $12.50 as a seedling. This is the third mislabelled plant from them in that one order. I got a "Mtssa Dark Star 'Darth Vader'" from them in the same order and it bloomed out to be Mclnra Pagan Love Song 'Chocolate Thunder'. The third from that shipment was "Phal Golden Peoker 'Nan-cho'" but I don't remember what it turned out to be. Now, Frank @ Chesterfields was very accomodating and replaced the "Golden Peoker" with the nearest Harlequin he had available. I think it was a bad year for them.

Anyhow, can you send me a pic of the radiata? I have one already but really would not mind having another.

Doc
Don't have a pic -- had borrowed my father-in-law's in january, and it proceeded to work for about 7 days -- got the pics downloaded, and then it quit. Was a Fujifilm A205 -- took excellent pictures, but won't anymore -- am reluctant to borrow his new one -- don't have one of my own.

Anyway, since you have one already, no need to trade, eh?

Have always enjoyed your pics.

Great growing

Take care

Rex
