Amyleee217,

I have a Sharry Baby (don't know the clone) that I can send you. It's kind of sad- 1 new growth with 4 pretty shriveled back bulbs, and very spotted leaves. healthy enough, but up to you as to whether it's worth $4 for priority mail. I can send a picture if you're interested. Got it in a trade, so I don't have any bloom pictures.

Hi Amy,

Here it is -
the Xs mark the older pbs, the arrow points at the newest lead. Like I said, sort of a sad little plant. I can throw in a piece of Max. tenuifolia. It's a piece of the plant shown in a HAVE ad here on the forum...the dog got it. It has 1 main pb with 2 side shoots. And this piece doesn't have any teeth marks ;)

hi carolyn! thanks so much for the offer - sorry it has taken me so long to write back, i had to go back to work :(

my sweet boyfriend went and bought me a sharry baby red fantasy for my birthday - what a sweet plant, the flowers opened up ON my birthday. so I guessssssss with my limited space, i won't really need another sharry baby. but thanks again for your reply :)

May I suggest you pot your Sharry Baby in a fine medium, maybe seedling mix. Put some slow release fertilizer on top of the medium and grow it in medium light (dappled sunlight). The spots on the leaves are natural on this Onc, so no worry there. It should give you many new leads and flower on every new lead, given sufficient light.

In south Florida it blooms in the Oct Nov timeframe with the rest of the Onc alliance.
