How can I revive this orchid?

What can we do to save this orchid? We live in Pennsylvania and have the orchid sitting on the windowsill about 1 foot away from the window. The same place where two others are doing OK. Possibly the window chill is bothering this one, but not the others. What suggestions does anyone have? I'd welcome your help!

The road back will take ages and you have to ask yourself is it worth the time and effort. What sort of "window chill" is it getting? I think the recommended low is something like not below 60F and the day temp should rise.
What is the mix? Looks pretty arid and the plant looks to be over-potted.
I know that some growers can bring them back from the brink, be interesting to hear what they say.

I agree the potting mix looks dry, what is it? If you decide to try to bring it back
I would pull it out of it's pot and check the roots, then I would repot in a appropriate pot, looking at existing pot I doubt if it draining properly. After checking roots I would use a more open mix for air movement. Once roots are trimmed of any decay use a pot with drain holes or slits, most orchids would rather be under potted. GOOD LUCK IF YOU TRY......HANK

It's overpotted and the leaves look like they are stressed for water. Probably has root rot. If you feel like saving it (I wouldn't), repot into a smaller, unglazed clay or plastic pot with plenty of drainage and use orchid bark. Its poor condition is not due to temperature.

I would transfer it to a pot with drainage. I recently looked up a couple of u tube videos and most interesting to know that you can cut some of the dry strings away. I keep my orchids in the bathroom since they like the moisture. U tube is great. Good Luck

I have to be honest with you. I'd toss that puppy as you can get a new one in bud for $15 or less. It's just not worth the work.
