| attached is a photo of my orchid. It is a 'Just Add Ice' Orchid from Walmart. The same thing happened to another similar orchid - it eventually totally died. We have 2 other JAI orchids from Walmart that are doing OK. I have read some of the other threads and am going to check the soil for moisture. We live in Pennsylvania and have the orchid sitting on the windowsill about 1 foot away from the window. The same place the two are that are doing OK. Possibly the window chill is bothering this one, but not the others. What suggestions does anyone have? I'd welcome your help! |

| that looks like it froze. it's dark and limp from the punctured cell walls. if the new growth is still green and firm the plant may eventually recover, but if not, i don't think there's much that can save it. |
