 o
Forced Phal smaller

I tried my first forced Phal and the buds, fewer than the original are starting to open up. The seem to be smaller. I was wondering after they finish blooming and leaving the Phal to let it do its thing in the future, would they bloom again larger as when I first got them, or would they stay stunted?

they should be normal sized again as long as you're meeting cultural requirements.

Lol, we have been through all this before. The only way to prove the cut them off or not cut them off thingii is to run trials. Orchid growers are great experimenters, they try this and they try that, but they are uncontrolled experiments, those great results you get with a potting mix or new fertilizer might be due to other factors eg. good growing weather.
As to whether your plant will return to its former glory, maybe that glory was due to the potting mix and the growing conditions where it was reared, so there are lots of ifs and buts in the orchid world.
Of course, I am only talking about run of the mill ordinary Phalaenopsis not the species and some of the primary hybrids.
