| hello all,i bought a leptotes bicolor last year at an orchid show.it is in a 1" clay pot with sphagnum moss.it was blooming then but since it lost half of its leaves.it now has 6 left.i have it under a 60w.lite,14 hours a day,water when dry,humidity at 50%.any ideas on what to do ,should i repot it etc.?thank you for any ideas. |

The only ones i have seen were growing on tree-fern mounts. Maybe the climate here approximates Z9 CA. The leaves say high light and dryness not cloud forest conditions so maybe Spag. would not be a good growing material. |

| Oops, maybe tree-fern is not freely available in CA. Anyway just google Leptotes bicolor and select images. Mounting is the way to go. If tree-fern not available and you have to use a more arid mount, place a very small pad of spag under the plant and tie the plant to the mount with cotton thread. |
