The only ones i have seen were growing on tree-fern mounts. Maybe the climate here approximates Z9 CA.
The leaves say high light and dryness not cloud forest conditions so maybe Spag. would not be a good growing material.

Oops, maybe tree-fern is not freely available in CA. Anyway just google Leptotes bicolor and select images. Mounting is the way to go. If tree-fern not available and you have to use a more arid mount, place a very small pad of spag under the plant and tie the plant to the mount with cotton thread.
