Greetings All! I wanted to share my Epc. Rene Marque 'Tyler' blooms with you. I think it is an awesome and unique flower. Plus, it is fairly easy to grow. Just provide it with bright light and water after it dries. The only draw back is that it can get pretty tall.

Just spent half an hour fiddling with this name (too hot to go outside) .Thank goodness for Dr. Google. Think it should be Epicattleya Rene Marques 'Tyler'
with two accents that render the RHS search difficult. Anyway. it is beautiful orchid and i intend to buy one if it appears on a local orchid list.
The accents appear above the second e in Rene and above the e in Marques.

Pretty. I bought one of these at a big box store. It is getting tall but has not bloomed yet.

Thanks for the great comments!

Jane - I will post the pics to the Gallery.
Arthur - Sorry about the name. It is labeled correctly on the plant but not so clear in my memory.
After having such a great experience with this Epicatt, I will be on the look out for a similar one this year.

I have tried to upload my pics to the gallery a couple of times without success. I am getting an error that the system is failing. Maybe I will try next week.
