I recently won a 250 cfl felizlight with the winged reflector. The box says proven success in high humidity.
I have an automatic mister in my greenhouse. I would like to know if I can use it in the greenhouse. Do any of you have one. I tried it in my solarium and boy it is one bright light.
Most cfl are not acceptable with the misters. The water gets in the vent holes. I modified a reflector and I was able to use a 40 watt cfl. I used scotch strapping tape and attached a plastic side wall to the reflector. Then used the strapping tape like a lens on the fixture. I have had it in the greenhouse for 2 years. so it does work.
The way this winged reflector is built there is no way I can seal the moisture out.
