has anyone tried Megathrive?

At my local Orchid Society meeting the other day somebody mentioned how impressed she was with Megathrive. It's a foliar vitamin spray primarily for orchids, but allegedly good for other plants as well. It was originally developed to help orchids tolerate multi-week long travel in shipping containers better, but supposedly also works for inducing flowering and to help minimize shock at repotting time.

One negative thing my googling research revealed is it sometimes causes flowers to mutate (to flower not true to form, or whatever the right expression is).

I wonder if anyone here tried it and what the impressions are. is full of botany smarty science babble that is over my head (probably designed that way, or directed at professional growers or both), but the active ingredients seem much more straightforward.

RE: has anyone tried Megathrive?

I have used it and still do occasionally. I mainly use it for stressed plants or during repotting. Originally, I sprayed it every few weeks but grew tired of that.

I received a free sample. I don't think I would pay for it.
