What do I need to do?

I have had this orchid for 9 or so years. It has stopped flowering. It hasn't had flowers in years. So today while sitting in my dining room staring off into nowhere land my eyes happened to roam and fall on my little Miss and I realized it does not look good and I have not a clue what to do to help her. I water it once or twice a month depending on how dry it is. What should I do to make it healthy again and to get it to flower. Thank you

The road back to health will take ages, so maybe you should start with a healthy orchid.
Are there any drainage holes at the base of the container?
Where are you in the USA?
Where does the orchid live and what are the conditions there. (Temps and light)?
Guessing that the orchid is Dendrobium of some sort.

What kind of light does it get?
Have you moved it since its last bloom?
Dendrobiums like bright indirect to morning/filtered sun for best bloom along c regular fertilizing.
They also like good drainage, c a light orchid mix. They like to dry between waterings and be misted regularly.

Yes, the pot has drainage holes in the bottom. I live in Colorado. It sits in a southern window. In the winter the temperature doesn't get below 60 in our house and in the summer it is in the 70's.I don't want to give up on it my husband gave it to me for a wedding anniversary years ago. It has been so long since its last flowering that I do not remember but I don't think it has been moved. It is in orchid mix it definitely gets dry between waterings it does not get misted and only gets fertilizer when I remember which is not as often as it should be. It gets good light. My husband thinks it needs more water. How often should I be watering it? Thank you

Did the blooms look something like the pics. below? If so it is a warm growing hard cane Dendrobium that actively grows during the warmer months of the year and blooms in late autumn/ early winter. It does not like getting dry between waterings when it is actively growing. Reduce watering a bit in autumn and winter but do not let it get bone dry.
Find some complete culture notes on the net written for indoor growing in the USA for more detailed instructions. Search for Phal. type Dendrobium, culture or Phal. type Dendrobium, growing.
For some reason, since the GW upgrade pics are being compressed. Click on Pics for a better view.
