| I have been growing orchids for quite a while with success, but I have just lately received a couple of Masd. orchids and am having a problem with one of them. One is thicker leaved and one has thinner leaves. They are both planted in fine bark mix with a bit of spaghnum moss. They are on my kitchen window sill. The thicker leaved one looks very healthy and blooms quite often, but any new growth only manages to get 1/2 to 1 inch tall and then it turns yellow and dies! The temp where they are is 60-75 deg. and they are misted daily and watered every couple of days and they have good drainage and air movement with a ceiling fan above them. Can someone help me with the problem with the new growth dying? This is not happening with the thinner-leaved plant. |

| You need to give more info. Where do you live (zone, state), what type of light do you have. How often do you water. If you have a photo it would help plus give the name of the plants. There are different Masdes and some require different conditions. Jane |
