where to purchase sheets of cork?

We are wanting to build and epiphyte tree out of pvc pipe. We then want to cover it in cork. Any suggestions on where we can purchase sheets of cork online?

I'm pretty certain you can get those from Oakhill in Chicago.
The ones I've seen are big pieces of cork bark peeled from the tree. They already look like pieces of tree trunk. Hope that's what you're looking for. ginnibug

I suggest that you try virgin cork. Build your epiphyte tree with real cork. Please, check the link provided below:

Here is a link that might be useful: Md Cork Co, virgin cork

It depends on how much cork you need. Md Cork used to sell only bales and the unit cost that way is low. I bought a bale and have not had to buy more.

Price it both ways and you may find that a bale is less expensive and you will have extra to use in future or resell. Stored outside, cork bark lasts a long time before getting too dry.

Santa Barbara Orchid Estates carries it.

I purchased a roll at Lowes, 24" wide X 36" about 1/8" thick.I found it in the "storage" area. (I used it to line a silverware drawer).
