I managed to save this pseudo bulb from the mother plant who was infested with mealy bug. I've been feeding her with 24-8-16 since October, once a month. I'm hopping one day she will flower and be just as spectacular as her mother.

So what happened to the mother plant? I hope you didn't discard it because of mealy bugs. If so I want to give you guys my address and you can send me all your mealy infested plants.

The mother plant got thrown out. Here in Ontario it's illegal to sell anything stronger than an insecticidal soap and the plant was beyond salvageable.

I have used a combination of soap and alcohol quite successfully. 1 part each of soap and alcohol 8 parts water. soak everything every 4 days x 3 and that usually solves the problem. No Neem oil available either?
