Can someone ID this. It will not bloom so I don;t know what I am doing wrong.

It might be Dendrobium kingianum. Hard to say without a bloom. If it is said orchid there is lots of info. in the link to the thread down the page a bit.

I think Arthur is right. Without any blooms I would guess kingianum too.

Dendrobium kingianum

Need information about how it is grown to help you get it to bloom. Light, water, etc, be specific and as detailed as you can get.

This was given to me by a friend and I have never seen it bloom. It is in front of the window so it gets enough sunlight. I will look up information on kingianum. I was told that the blooms are scented.

They are scented. Judging by the looks of the plant, one of the elements it seems to be lacking is moisture/water.

It's in front of a window but does it get any direct sun? It should get filtered sun at least 6 hours of the day.
