What type of orchid?

Hi, this is my first post. Glad I found you!

Someone gave me a clipping from an orchid but they didn't know the name of the orchid. I have pictures of it. Is there a place here where you can post photos? I'd sure love to know what it is so I know how best to care for it!

You could use Google to search the internet and select images to find similar orchids.
Maybe link to your image via Optional URL and Name of the link (see below) provided you have a share on your photo.
There is a photo gallery on this site, just go to the top of this discussions page to find, but there is nothing to say that you cannot post images here, particularly those that relate to orchid culture questions.
