| I admit it, I'm a sucker for the 50% off orchid shelf. When I find a healthy specimen with new PBs, I usually get one even if it's NOID. The one I came home with yesterday had a tag. However, I can't find it with Google, so I think it's wrongly ID'd. It says "Miltassia Mem. Donald Campbell". Supposedly it has green petals and a red/pink lip. Any ideas on which miltassia that might be? Of course I won't know for sure until it blooms. |
Follow-Up Postings:
| It's not a Miltassia. It's an Odontioda Memoria (Mem.) Donald Campbell, an Oncidium intergeneric of mostly Odontoglossum with a bit of Cochlioda and Oncidium thrown in. Try Googling it both ways. Should appreciate cool temperatures. |
| I didn't get anything with Odontioda, etc. |
| Google doesn't have every orchid hybrid name and photo. The information came from the RHS Registrar. I guess you will have to wait until it blooms to see what it looks like, and then you can post your photo up on the Internet. |
