I would cut off the spikes. I don't think you should touch the leaves. After enough time has passed the dead outer portions of leaves will easily fall off when you wiggle them a little bit with your hand but until then I'd leave them. Definitely don't cut leaves in their entirety.

It looks on the pic like there are a few healthy roots at least so there is hope.

Cut the spikes, pull them out of the media, trim dead roots, put into a new potting medium (like bark or sphagnum) and keep them in a darker spit for a week or two then gradually give more light.

Yes, more of the roots are good than dried ones, that's why I thought of trying to save them.
The leaves had only some blotches to begin with, and they are getting slowly bigger. Hope they don't turn to complete mush.

Do you recommend higher temps?

If it were my plant, I would take a straight-edge razor and carefully cut away the dead parts of the leaves. Clean cut is important. Do not cut the whole leaf off. Just cut the dying part.

I would leave the spikes, as I think the plant can manage flowering. If the flowers all start falling off, buds drying up, cut the whole spike off. Otherwise, you can wait on that.

Water the plant, make sure it drains and put it in a warm room with bright window.

Thank you, I got busy last night& didn't do anything yet. So I'll follow your advice. Only few very young buds fell off so far, second plant has 1more spike.
Will see what happens.
