Dendrobium papillo

Saw one of these at a species meeting yesterday, what a beauty. A huge crystalline white flower plus a bud on an old 20" cane that was no more than 2mm in diameter. The new canes were larger and will have more flowers. A real show stopper, was speaker's choice.

Andy has them, like Coelogeny 'Brookhurst' FCC/AOS, there is a regular one and one with the big flowers that I saw. Obviously more for the large flowered clone but I would highly recommend it.

RE: Dendrobium papillo

Correct spelling is D papilio, here is a link, the plant I saw looked very much like it.
