Also, trying to root a Rhyncolaelia

I also have a Rhyncolaelia digbyana that I am trying to root. The plant consists of two pseudobulbs (back bulbs) that have very little healthy root (read: none). I tried to use the sphagnum in a bag-but-not-touching-the-plant-for-heavens-sake method, but am getting some funky mold on the roots.

I am going to clean, soak, and root hormone it, and then give it another shot via another method. Does anyone have suggestions?

Thanks in advance!

Nathan
