Was in Santa Barbara today specifically to visit Hengduan Mountains Biotechnology to pick up a Calanthe argenteostriata they were holding for me and to talk to them about the plants I want from them next year. Had to stop at SBOE to check out the $7.50 table, no trip to SB is complete without that. Found 10 species I bought plus one that blew me away.

Here amongst the crowd was Zootrophion vulturipes, a plant I have been looking for. It is a hard to find pure white Zootrophion http://www.orchidspecies.com/zoovultuiceps.htm which I bid on eBay but was knocked out as it sold for $69. Andy has it for about $60 as does J & L for a similar price. At $7.50, I bought 3 of them and was kicking my heels. Love that table, actually about 15 tables.
