So pretty! How do you keep up the humidity in a heated house with mounts? Please share your growing secrets...

lumpy j,

what type of media are you using for your dendrobium.

Thanks all.

The main thing I do for humidity in the room is cram a plant in every square inch I can. For few plants I sit the pot in a vase with some water at the bottom to keep the humidity at the root zone up a bit.

I have been mixing Hydroton with Orchiata bark for my dendrobiums, except for the Aggregatum which is in a basket and a Laevifolium which is in sphag.
