Thus Phal was purchased almost 3 weeks ago with 13 blooms, 4 have aged since then. It came with outstanding roots out of the pot at the top, healthy looking. Past couple of days the very ends of the roots are a brownish color. Any reason for this? Is this typical?
Follow-Up Postings:

Sometimes actively growing roots have a color like you describe instead of the bright green. Not to worry.

Normal. It looks like they're getting a little sun, but not in a burnt way.
