New to Cypripedium

I decided to have a go at growing Cypripedium Reginae this year and I just wanted to check that it is normal for leaves to now be turning brown and shrivelling up. Should I expect for everything to die above soil level over winter? Should I continue to water? Thanks for any help.

Yes your Cyp. reginae should be going dormant now that fall has arrived. Once it is totally dormant I would only continue to water it if you are in an extreme drought or you run the risk of rotting it.

Enjoy it next spring when it blooms.
