do they fly?? I had some bugs similar to fruit flies on the bark and after doing some research I found out that larvae can grow on rotten debris and bark, usually caused by too much humidity and/or over watering. So I simply dumped the old bark, cleaned my clay pots with bleach, and bought new bark (special mix), and replanted it and never saw the bugs again. Luckily I did not see any damage to my orchids and cut down on watering to once a week. Hope you can get rid of them, and just wanted to share my experience. Charles..
