| I am trying to increase my orchid collection so that I have a variety of orchids blooming throughout the year. I have recently gotten interested in paphiopedilums, and I would like to have some blooming at different times of the year. If I buy them in bloom at different times of the year can I anticipate them blooming around that time each year, or are they forced to bloom out of season like the phalaenopsis I see at the big box stores? I can't always find information about their bloom time. When I order them online, I try to get some that bloom at different times of the year.
TIA

| Big Box orchids are forced. If you buy one it will start to adjust to your light/temperature situation and go back its proper season. |
