| Hello orchid family, I have a Q. About my Epidendrum , it had blooms but then I cut it back removing all the stringy stems to try to increase the size of the blooms, I trimmed it back in March of this year 2012 .
I have fertilized and It's in full sun at least 80% of the day zone 9 southern Calif. Any thoughts or suggestions, I also mixed pine back and compost to the mix? Greg |

| Blooming commences in spring, so you should start to see the formation of bloom spikes at the end of new canes at the end of "winter". |

| Arthurum, thanks I trimmed back as I mentioned last March so I guess that didn't give them enough time to recoupe and start new spikes then. Thanks, I was starting to wonder whatha heck is going on here I'm treating this plant way to well and nothing!!! Thanks looking forward to new spikes and blooms. Greg |

| One more question please, Should I continue to fertilize during winter months or just water it occasionally or leave it alone? Greg |
