When I'm re-potting my Oncidium can I divide the plant or does it all have to stay together? Its to big for its pot right now but even if I put it in a much bigger pot to me it seems still to crowded.

If you divide the plant try to keep the division "intact" so you do not end up with tiny divisions that will take years to get to flowering size , a good rule of thumb is count back from the newest growth and have at least four pseudobulbs in the division. Of course the action you take depends on how big the plant is and how many active growing leads are present. Maybe do nothing till spring, but this depends on your growing conditions and the climate in San Mateo.

Well right now I have 9 pseudobulbs growing together in the pot which one is actually not growing anymore. It seems I will have to wait until spring since one of the pseudobulbs has a stem growing that will have flowers.
