A friend got me this orchid as a hostess gift. Love it! I've been looking at paph's lately with the thought of getting one.
Maybe I just have to keep inviting this friend over for dinner!

BTW: Don't cut the spike, this plant can bloom on the same spike for several years.

That's good to know about the spike. I've had phals re-bloom on a spike.
This does bring up a question that I had. I was going to wait until it stopped blooming to check the roots and perhaps re-pot. I guess I should go ahead and at least check the roots?
