bayard, I recall that you posted about a Lycaste Virgo 'Bristol' quite a while ago. Do you continue to have an interest in Lycaste type orchids?

Please, keep us informed on the latest from Japan. People "over there" have skimmed most of the best Lycastes from North America!

Stitz - I am still interested in Lycastes. Got a chance to hear Henry Oakeley speak here in Philadelphia and bought his (awesome) book on the genus. Alas, my Lycaste Virgo was virused and had to be pitched. the Japanese certainly have made some amazing Lycaste hybrids and I hope to see many at the Tokyo Dome show. See my posting in the gallery for their latest!
