Psycopsis double blooms?

My Psycopsis blooms double blooms all the time. Is this normal? Meaning that at the end of the stem is two flowers, rather than the typical, one.

Normal? I think not. I had a judge tell me some years back that I was mistaken, my plant could not have twins. But it did, several times! Then it started blasting the buds (stll doubles) before they'd finish developing. I passed the plant on to a friend who had a GH. Bloomed twice for her with doubles, then the plant died.

I hope it doesn't die. It looks very healthy.
