| I tried posting this earlier but I don't think I posted successfully. Anyways, I recently bought this plant that's labeled Blc George King 'Serendipity'. Now it is in bloom, but the flowers do not look like the ones I found online. I'm wondering if I've been misled into buying a completely different hybrid.
The two flowers are different: one has a large lopsided lip, and the other has a smaller lip and wilting petals. They've been open for only 4 days. I think the wilting may be due to trauma because it was shipped in bud, out of pot. It's a huge plant, with leaves 11-12" long and bulbs 4-5" tall. It has 1 bulb per leaf. What do you think? |

| Hard to say because the flower has suffered damage in transit and also because mericlones do vary a bit. Here is another pic that you can use for comparison. ![]() |

| It's George. Just so happens when the Georges' flower first pens it's a non-descript pink . As it ages it develops that nice salmon shade.. |
