laelia perrinii....how long does it bloom for you?

Mine is several years old and only seems to stay in bloom for 10 days. Is this the norm? I am trying to keep longer blooming orchids in my collection and 10 days just isn't up to par, especially if it's just once a year.

That sounds about right for the time until it starts to look old. Send it along to me, if it needs a home.

There are a large group of interesting PNG Dendrobium species that are very long-lasting, along with some nice hybrids. I have Dendrobium Stephen Batchelor and it lasts a very long time, along with blooming more than once.
