Hello all, I'm venturing into orchid growing and excited to have found this forum. I have lots to learn and can't wait to read the postings here. I'm diving in with four orchids. Here are photos of two of them I just got. The first is a phal and the second a oncidium.

| Your Oncidium will require a lot more light than the Phal. In Virginia I would grow it in full sun for most of the year, only shading it at all during the heat of the summer. |
