Newbie and need help. Orchid dying?

| Hi, all. I am worried about my orchids and would love your advice! The flowers have done blooming and I am losing leaves, with one hanging down and two sticking up. A lot of the roots have started growing up into the air and are turning grey. Is this normal? I will try a |

| This plant seems healthy to me... green leaves, healthy roots. You might want to cut spike down to between the first and second clippers at. If you are loosing leaves... turn yellow or brown, you might want to cut down the water or report it to a fast drain orchid mixture. |

| Yes it looks good. I'd cut the flower stem down as close to the leaves as possible. Then watch your watering, it's the single biggest killer of these and most houseplants. |

| Thanks! I was starting to get worried when the air roots started to dry up. I will trim and watch the watering. |

| Looks healthy. Just cut off the flower spike and repot in early Spring. BTW, you have a Phalaenopsis orchid. You can Google or search this website for tons of info on growing them Jane |
