| I came across this on another forum and though I would share it here. It is a book from England written in 1893. I found it interesting for so many reasons. The people he speaks of whose names live on in the plants named after them. The way he describes orchid hunting back then and how destructive it was. How amazing it must have been to be able to buy an unflowered plant at a show that turns out to be an undiscovered species. The writting style is hard to follow sometimes and the author tends to go off on tangents. I had to re read a few thing a couple times to figure out what he was saying.
