Coffee Grounds...brown or green?

I have access to free coffee grounds and as I do my basic research, there are some who classify them as browns whilst others consider them green.

As far as composting is concerned, which is correct?

I think everything I've read puts it as green.

As indicated on this chart coffee grounds can have 2.1 percent Nitrogen, and some research I have seen says they have a C:N ratio of around 11 to 1 which definitly puts them in the green category.
