Dwarf white clover - replant in spring

Posted by kmcdonou (My Page) on

I was going to plant dwarf white clover in an area I am planning to clear to plant fruit trees. I was planning to plant the fruit trees next spring and letting the dwarf white clover coexist with the fruit trees. If I plant the clover this spring will it die off over this coming winter? That is, will I need to replant it every year?

RE: Dwarf white clover - replant in spring

White Dutch Clover, aka dwarf white clover, "Trifolium repens L.", is a perennial clover that will keep on growing as long as the growing conditions it desires are met. While what I have growing in my lawn moves around a bit it does return every year.
