| I've had an infestation of spinach crown mites on my spinach. They have caused the new leaves to deform and are all over the center of the plants.
I've tried Insecticidal soap spray and diatomaceous earth but nothing :( There is little information out there on this pest, and the only other recommendation I could find was neem oil extract, but I've read it's effect on spinach crown mites are only "marginal." Has anyone else had this problem? |

| University of CA lists azidirachtin. But they also say "generally associated with soils that are high in organic matter and cool, wet conditions." See the info at http://www.ipm.ucdavis.edu/PMG/r732400111.html Doesn't sound easy. Suggest that, if limited, you simply get rid of the plants -- don't compost. |
