I consider aspirin to be a chemical, but the salicylic acid in aspirin has been proved over and over to be a huge benefit to plants. If you are going to use it, spray it on all surfaces of the stems and foliage.

Organic plant food is made by soil bacteria and fungi. What we do with an organic program is feed these microbes. They like to eat protein, carbohydrates, vitamins, minerals, and enzymes. Wait a minute! So do we!

I feed corn meal and alfalfa pellets. Yesterday I scattered some pulverized dry dog food I bought just to use in the garden. Anything with protein in it (wheat flour, milk, eggs, blood, feathers, etc.) make excellent food for the soil microbes. Give them 3 full weeks and they will return the favor for you.

How much corn meal?

I bought potted plants and kept them in the house because there was a frost warning. Today I put them out on the picnik table and watered them. It got to 74 degrees today. I came home a few hours later and seen that two of the pots of flowers look like they were dying. I didn't have any plant food so I asked what I could use to perk them up with what I have on hand................HELP!!!!!!!!!!

jdjd- Don't feed them anything. They are probably getting used to the warm weather. Even with moist soil a plant can have a hard time keeping enough water moving through it as it warms up (especially if it was a bit windy). Its all part of the hardening off process.
