Pointy cucumbers

Does anyone know what is causing my cucumbers to be pointed on the ends? They are fine on the stem end but the blossom end is pointed and slightly curled up. I see a lot of bees and other insects visiting the flowers so I wouldn't think it was a pollination issue. I have not watered my garden because we had a lot of rain with storms a couple of times a week for several weeks. I think I heard that we have had 9 inches of rain this month. This is my first year with a growing a veg. garden. Any help would be appreciated.
I don't know how to put a picture on here but I put a couple on flickr.

Thanks : )

RE: Pointy cucumbers

It's the heat and lack of water at a critical time in the fruit formation, right after pollination.

RE: Pointy cucumbers
