Vertical Hugelkultur

People may have seen this in the other forums posted, but I wanted to share here also.

I've noticed in my gardening this year that plants growing over vertically placed hugelkultur logs do not wilt.

Whereas plants growing over horizontally placed hugelkultur logs do wilt as normal plants do in sun and heat.

This makes a big difference in the growth rates in my garden.

RE: Vertical Hugelkultur

I did a google search for vertical hugelkultur and found the other thread. I am definitely going to give it a try - really like that you are seeing results without necessarily having to make a huge mound. I think that your blog is great too - very nice content, pictures, and writing style.

Thanks!
