Strawberry with mottled foliage?

Does this kind of bluish dappling suggest any problem? Or is it normal? I've noticed it on several plants. I also have 3 plants that almost died while I was figuring out a nutrient problem. The foliage turned red and brittle but the plants have since recovered and look very healthy although they never produced any fruit. DO you think its ok to move them into the bed with the rest of the strawberried so long as the roots look healthy?

Foliage shows health of plant & might just be coloring up again after your additional fertilizer.

Sure to transplant if you can keep them moist & planted at right depth. SB always do better in the ground as compared to a little pot!

Might not get a crop this year if June bearing, but if everbearing might get fall crop if you can keep the plants watered & fed this summer

Perhaps, another layer of compost as a feeding mulch will work for you, so you don't have to do the liquid fertilizers. Compost will be slow release & keep the plants moist.
