Just bought my first DR chipper and would like to make my own mulch for my perennial gardens. We have plenty of trees to choose from in the timber.

It makes the mulch a lot smaller then I would have liked but too late now!! Guess I'll just have to do add mulch more often?

Are there any trees not to chip up, that would harm my plants? We have pine, mulberry, cedar, elm, walnut, maple and sumac.

Any help or suggestions for using it would be appreciated.
