Help identifying Okra pest

Posted by steveaggie 8 (My Page) on

Overnight this little critter messed up my okra plant. Lots of white spots and black spots (droppings?) It looks like a lady bug but without the spots. It's the only bug I could find on it early this morning so I assume he's responsible.

My cucumber plants also suffered from this same type of attack.

Sorry if this has been covered, I did a search and didn't find anything.

There are several different species of ladybugs and that's one....trying to make some headway on all of those aphids.

Congratulations on your 'attack ' of ladybugs.

Thanks! I did find an aphid this afternoon. Good to know what I'm seeing now.
