| I have not used it, but it's in the same 'class' as vinegar. When it works, it kills the above soil portion of the plant, but not the roots. Since most weeds are able to regrow from their roots, repeated applications are necessary until the food reserves in the roots are exhausted. Taking a break and allowing the roots to produce photosynthesizing material for any length of time resupplies the roots with more food/energy. It's also a product that doesn't discriminate in what it kills. Spray it on desirable vegetation and they will be injured,killed by it. It's like Round Up in that it's non selective, but simply not as effective because it doesn't kill the roots. There are far cheaper solutions that will simply kill the tops of plants. |
