| Ok. I have an 8oz bottle of BT(15%) that makes up to 24 gallons that I got at Home Depot for 8 bucks or so. Then I did a bit of googling and I found some Dipel Pro DF(54%)(see link) for 25 bucks a LB(inc shipping), but it says it will make ONLY 100 gallons or an acre.
What's the deal? You think I can use the Dipel at like 1/3 strength and get the same effects? Usually, I find buying in bulk to be worth it. Doesn't seem like TOO much of a savings in this case Or, do you think at 54%, I wouldn't have to apply it as often as the 15% 8 oz bottles. Also, since BT is a bacterial agent, is there a short shelf life? Thanks. Kevin |

| It is your responsibility to use whatever pesticidal product you purchase....organic or not....according to the directions on the label. To do otherwise is against Federal law, which is clearly stated on the label. If you have any questions, call the 800 number located on every label. Using more OR less might not be a good option. |

| The Dipel Pro is a powder while what you purchased is a liquid. Different materials which will affect shelf life. |

| Kimmsr: Correct. Help me out with this one. WHich one would you say has a longer shelf life? Kevin |

| The powdered material, the bacterium would most likely be dormant, would have a shelf live longer then any liquid product, provided the powder was kept dry. |
