OMRI is not a completely trustworthy source of organic certification. That said, they've made great strides in improvements over the years.

The final say in "certified organic" is the USDA. Look for the USDA NOP label on products. If for some reason you have a product that is intended for licensed pesticide applicators, then it might not be labeled as organic and you'll need to do some research as to what copper fungicide formulas are on the USDA NOP list.

Copper Hydroxide (by itself) is listed by the EPA as an environmental hazard. You must have a qualifying applicators license to purchase it in CA. More information is available on the link below.

@michael357, I don't understand why these people let the government decide for them what is organic and what is not. The government has never earned such trust.

"Organic" is a goal, not a specific instance on the way to that goal and certainly hard to live up to as an absolute, so it's entirely up to you to decide if that totally artificial industrial chemical has the slightest chance of being labeled "organic", which is total B.S.

Does it fit your idea of what you should be putting into your body? Only one's self can decide where to draw the line, not anyone else. All one can do is try.

Organic growing is not hard, or difficult, to live up to. Adhering to organic standards may be difficult for people that do not understand what those standards are. I have never found it difficult to adhere to the standards for organic growing.
Supposedly the OMRI, the people that determine products acceptable for use in an organic garden/farm, are supposed to be organic growers.

Grubby: I assume that putting into your body doesn't mean directly like drinking piss that would be an organic source of N when applied to the soil.
