Good old Mt. Baldy - on a clear day I used to see it driving down Sunset Blvd.

I used to go up to Big Bear with friends to ski - I stayed in the cabin and drank hot chocolate and read and the did the skiing.

Nice pictures and clear too!! No smog. I have lived in Laytonville for the last 30 years, half my life now. But before I moved north I lived in Hacienda Heights and we rode our horses and four wheeled on Mt. Baldy.

I had forgotten all about Mt. Baldy. I've never been there but even living in San Franciso,it became well known. Those are good photos and I have a question. I noticed Missy's name at the top. Did she take these? and if she did,where was she? They are really good Don.

We went to the funeral of a neighbor/fiend on Saturday. One of the few originals left in the neighbor hood. Missy is an original here too from the '50s. After the funeral we decided to go to the top of the hill north of us on the border of La Habra Heights/Roland heights and take pics of the snow since it was such a nice day. Missy took the pictures of the mountains and pictures at the funeral earlier. I took some with my film slr another day from another hill but have not yet developed them. The snow is down to 2000 feet in places and the ski businesses are very happy this year.
