Having a house with that type of window glass, I wondered. I loved it, had character. Only a few windows left with it intact, due to the high cost of fuel, most of the windows have been replaced with those double insulated tilt in units.

Back when I washed the old windows at least two of the storms fell out of the sills to whatever lay below every spring when I got cleaning. It was a family joke and a hard hat area. My DH told me that's why the windows were so dirty when I married him. I was the first one brave enough to attempt it.

Well, sheila, I've looked and looked at both pictures time & again, and I still think the composition looks like one bottle in a mirror reflected in a mirror etc. But, isn't that what mnakes good art? A bit of ambiguity?

No matter, they are both wonderful shots, but I do like the amber one better.

I'm hoping to sell the golden shot.

It's hard to compare the two. Black and whites give such wonderful shading and detail which you can't get with a colored photo and I've always preferred them,but I would have to go along with the others. Somehow the play of lights and the amber bottles are breathtaking.

I see only one photo in black and white. I feel like Im missing something. I love the one I see tho.

Both are great but I'll have to agree that the amber catches my fancy over the black and white. josh
